I hate to say it, but a lot of men and women talk a lot of game behind on a computer screen when they are online dating, and when it comes down to actually going for that coffee, having a steamy hookup at a hotel room, or meeting for a cocktail you can often get played around with and essentially blown off.  It can often be hard to tell when you’re being blown off and this is definitely something you’re going to want to know how to decipher when you’re online dating because it can waste a lot of your valuable time

So, if you find yourself chatting with someone online and you think she/he might like you, but you can’t be too sure, here are a few hints that should be determining factors that you should move on from chatting with them, and trying your shot at another member on the site:

• They always make excuses as to why they “can’t make it” or “want to re-schedule” the date.
  When you are getting to know each other online, people usually set a time to talk. If they don’t set a time to instant message, they get back to an email promptly. After having a great conversation, they usually decide to take it offline.  If the person you’re talking to constantly missing the set time to talk, doesn’t get back to you promptly, and doesn’t really mention anything about taking it offline, while coming up with excuses, they’re probably not that into you. So, don’t bother wasting your time.

• They forget things you tell them. Why is it you’ve had to mention three times that you have kids when you’ve already told countless stories about them? And why can’t they seem to remember where you work, even though you talk about it every day? If they forget everything you tell them, it’s because they weren’t listening that hard to begin with and clearly don’t really care what you have to say. So, don’t bother wasting your time.

• It’s all about ‘me’. If they’re treating you more like a therapist than a shoulder to lean on, then they’re taking advantage of your time. People who are genuinely interested in you will put effort into making the relationship a two-way street, where both of you get equal attention and you both depend on each other to listen, to give advice, etc.

• They have no interest in your friends, family or personal life. People who are interested in potentially dating you are going to want to know about your personal life and what is important to you. Now, things can differ greatly if you are talking to someone on an adult dating site. You’re not going to necessarily talk about your family or friends when you are on this type of site, but you will talk about your personal life which includes sexual interests and preferences.

So, if you find yourself talking to someone online who fits into any of these 4 different descriptions, you should probably re-evaluate the situation and figure out if it’s really in your best interest to potentially waste your time talking to someone who’s probably just not into you.

To make a long story short, the difference between what time in the day you have your meal at can make the difference between a short fling and a serious relationship. In order to better understand the difference between eating in the afternoon and eating at night, I will break it down for you:

The Lunch Date:

When you take someone out to lunch, you’re basically letting it be known that you want to keep things casual. By asking someone out for a meal during the day, you’re blocking the chance to take the date further. It’s too early to ask them out for a drink, and chances are one of you will be on a time limit to get back to work, plans for the evening, etc. Having a ticking clock on a date isn’t the most romantic thing in the world! Not only are you restricting what you’re able to do together, you’re keeping all pressure off the date, which is the exciting part of it.

When you’re out during the day, the date isn’t as special. You don’t have the night mood music playing in the restaurant, you don’t have waiters offering you extra drinks with your meal, and you don’t have the suspense of whether or not they’re going to invite you back to your place when the date is done. A lunch date is the first indicator that the relationship isn’t going to be a serious one.

The Dinner Date:

The dinner date is the date that says, ‘I would really like for this to go somewhere.’ Dinner dates have a more romantic feel than lunch dates. You have dim lit rooms, big wine selections, and usually a few candles lit around the table.

The conversation usually has a more serious tone to it, talking about things like life goals instead of current jobs, which you get to talk about in a more formal environment.

Besides the atmosphere, you have a great chance to show off your goods! You can wear what you want and flaunt your best side in an outfit that may not be completely appropriate for a lunch date. Not to mention, when the dinner is over, unlike during the day, you get the chance to take it further. Whether it’s drinks, dancing or a nice walk in the night air, you have extensive options to continue your conversation.

When you’re going out on dates with someone you met online, take cues as to what kind of date they’re looking for. If they seem timid and a little inexperienced at online dating, choose a lunch date to make them feel more at ease. If you’ve gotten a good vibe from your online partner and think it’s worth a shot taking it further, ask them out for dinner! The difference between lunch and dinner really is day and night So, choose wisely!

If you’ve read any of my previous dating tactics, you know that I’m a firm believer in using online dating sites to meet other singles. This is the easiest way to meet other singles to date, have sex with, or even just have fun with and pass the time.

Missionary Style: Although women DON’T MIND missionary, it’s not her favorite. When in missionary style, the man has all control and is completely in the driver’s seat. And since we all know how selfish men can be, they often only care about getting themselves off in missionary style and don’t use this position to get their women off. On the other side of the spectrum, in missionary style women can just lay there, so it’s often a go-to when a woman doesn’t feel like having sex, but just wants to do it to make her man happy.

Woman On Top: Ding ding ding! This is the most favorited sex position of them all. When a woman is on top, it allows her to control everything! And therefore makes it a lot easier for her to orgasm. She can control the speed, the angle, and just about everything else in this position So guys, if you want to keep her coming back for more, you should incorporate this position into your sex schedule on a regular basis.

Doggy-style: Doggy-style was the second favorite sex position. I was some what surprised to see this answer as the runner up because I thought doggy-style was one of those positions that the majority of women felt was degrading, but apparently not! So guys, go to down and fuck her doggy style because census shows; they really do like it, and you know you do too

Reverse Cow Girl: This position was the least favorite position according to all the girls I polled.  This is probably because it is uncomfortable and doesn’t really do anything. This position is more of an aesthetically pleasing position for porn stars to do so the pervs watching can have the perfect view of her lady bits When it comes down to it, this position hurts the thighs, the arms, and just about every other body part, so try to avoid this one guys.

So guys, in conclusion if you really want to impress her in the bed room, stick to woman on top and doggy-style. If you follow these tactics, then she will come back begging for more! Okay, maybe I’m exaggerating a bit, but she will be coming back.

When I was on this site about two years ago, I met a lot of men. It’s a known fact that diet effects the body in almost every way possible, so choosing what you’re going to eat, especially on a date, is very important.

First you have to think about smell. Anything that will make your breath smell bad will put you in a really bad position. The main reason for this is the obvious fact that your breath will smell and it will totally turn your date off. But, it also goes further than that. Foods like garlic, onion and even asparagus carry so much potency with their smells that they don’t just target your breath. The scents from strong foods can actually travel through your sweat glands, making you smell bad all over the place!

On the opposite end of the spectrum, things with acidity, like lemons and pineapple, can keep you smelling sweeter than usual, and essentially, more desirable. Their natural sugars will bring out your pheromones, which promotes your natural smell to come out, and is scientifically proven to be an attractor for the opposite sex

Once you’ve conquered your scents, you’ll want to move on to visuals!

In a world where breaking up with someone is as easy as changing your Facebook status, how are we suppose to digitally handle our breakups? Back in the day you would only have to worry about running into an ex BF/GF when visiting your hometown during the holidays. Now we have to worry about seeing their new Facebook statuses, accidentally reading their Tweets and seeing their “fabulous” life via Instagram.

When you break up with someone, whether it was an online dating relationship or a long lasting real life one, how do you digitally handle it?

Changing Your Facebook Status:

If you’re going to change your status, make sure that you’re officially over. Don’t be that drama king or queen that everyone hates on Facebook that constantly changes their status back and fourth. You should change it once, and only when you’re absolutely positive that the two of you are over.

Should you save the digital photos of the two of you together?
Back in the day, pictures were usually kept in albums and frames that were tucked away in your closet. Having the pictures easily accessible on your computer is dangerous. It makes it too easy for you to be able to open one up and have emotions flood back. Download the pictures to a jump drive and put that somewhere not to be seen. If a day comes that you get back together or you simply want to see the pictures, you can dig them out, but you won’t have the temptation of seeing them every day.

Should you untag/delete the pictures of the two of you together online?
You should probably un-tag yourself so they don’t pop up on your Facebook on a day where you’re feeling down in the dumps. If you have albums of happy times of you two as a couple, you should also delete those albums. You don’t need to do this immediately after you break up. Make sure you are in a good state of mind before you do any deleting, because you don’t want to regret anything.

Should you unfriend them?
Definitely! Especially in the first few months after the break up. Having them on your Facebook gives you constant access to what they’re doing, who they’re with, and if they’re dating someone else. This will essentially just make it harder to move on, but it may cause as a temptation to ‘accidentally’ run into them at the location they said they’d be in their status. Having them off your friend list will give you time to clear your head and begin to heal from the break up.

What should you do about the drunk texts?
Imagine if there was no such thing as cell phones? You’d have to find a quarter, find a pay phone, find a phone book, find their phone number, then call. Today, all you have to do is be coherent enough to look in your pocket, find your iPhone and you’ve sent a text. If you get a drunk text from them saying they miss you or they wish you were still together, wait until the next morning to respond. That way they get a chance to sober up and really think about what they’re saying to you. A lot of people say that drunk words are sober thoughts, but they are in fact drunk words either way, and shouldn’t be paid too much attention to.

All in all guys, In a world with so much access, people are often too quick to declare their relationship dead. Think things through before you give the digital world the official death notice, and make sure all traces of the romance aren’t around to pull you in with temptation.

Instead of trying to dissect what they’re typing and what it really means, put thought into how they’re typing it.

What is their profession?

Believe it or not, the best hint to what their internet body language is saying can be found in their profession. If he’s someone like a lawyer or writer that is expected to have proper vocabulary and you find him using slang in your conversations, that’s probably his way of relaxing around you. If he’s someone in a less educated profession and you find him using larger than average words, it could be his way of trying to impress you!

Take a look at the emoticons they use.

This is one you’ll find especially in males. When men type, it’s not instinct to add in a smiley face or wink. If you find that someone is adding ‘:)’s’ after their hellos or a witty sentence, it’s trying to emphasize friendliness and better communication. When do they sign off?

If someone has genuine interest in pursuing an online relationship with you, they’ll always want to leave with a good impression. If you’re constantly getting a ‘well nice talking to you, ttyl,’ his interest isn’t very deep. People put a lot of thought into what they’re saying online.  It’s not like when you’re face to face and you have to say something on the spot before thinking it over. That’s essentially one of the joys of online dating- you have the opportunity to think before you speak! To be honest, if you notice the messages you are getting are short and meaningless, you will probably want to move onto your the next person. If you’re getting messages that are fun and interesting, then you have a flirter who is more than likely into you!

They love it when you choose where you’re going. You know all those times you’ve let her choose the movie or the restaurant or the park you’re going to, thinking you’re making her happy? Well, women hate that. They’re indecisive about what shoes they’re going to wear for the day, what makes you think they’re going to want to choose where you’re going on your date?! Stepping up to the plate not only releases stress from her, but seeing you make decisions also puts you in an authority position, which women naturally find attractive.

They don’t really like flowers. The thought of the flowers is what women want. When you unexpectedly bring them flowers, it shows you’ve been thinking about them when you didn’t have to. Small gestures like that make a big impact on women! You don’t have to get flowers, you just have to show you were thinking of her. Bringing her something as basic as a cartoon clip out from the daily newspaper will put a smile on her face!

Ditch the Axe. In a study the company never publicly released, they found that almost 85% of men like the scent of Axe, but less than 10% of women had a favorable response to it. If you want to smell good, stay au natural! Women are more likely to be attracted to your natural scent than they are to any store bought cologne.

They watch scary moves to get close to you. Take the hint.

They don’t want to see your ex. Ever. “This picture of me and Michael Jordan is my favorite in the world! I know my ex girlfriend is in it, but can’t you just ignore it?” Not when it sits by your bedside! That is why they invented the crop tool on Photoshop, my friends. If you have any pictures of someone you were dating in the past around your house, it shows that you’re not over her. Take them down if you’re ready to move on!

They love it when you pick up the bill, but they don’t want to hear you complain about the price. If you thought price was going to be an issue, you should have taken her somewhere cheaper!

Is there anything else you would like to add to the list?

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with internet dating, well all know that– personally I think it’s the best way to meet new people. But when you are doing it with that desperate state of mind, you’re likely to be unsuccessful finding a meaningful relationship because you’re willing to accept the first person that sends you a wink.

Keeping your standards is the best way to separate good and good enough. ‘Settle’ is the dirtiest word you can say in the dating world. When you’re looking for love, no matter how long it takes you, you should always shoot for the best. You don’t want to waste your time with someone you’re not compatible with just because they’re willing to see you.

When you start answering messages from people, asses why you’re doing it. Is it because you have genuine interest in the message they sent you, or do you just want anyone to talk to? Take your time and go through the messages you get and only answer the ones you would answer if you had your pick of the entire litter. If there’s no one you received a message from that is of any interest to you, then move on! There’s no point of wasting your time on it. If no one from your inbox sparks your interest, then browse other people’s profiles and send a message to someone you’re interested in.

You can either put in a little effort into a lot of uninteresting people and find someone who is good enough, or you can take your time and find someone that is truly good. Time spent on the internet is a good investment into a relationship, so spend it wisely.
